			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Submit your proposal before 20th September, 2008.  <strong>How to submit a presentation proposal</strong> If you are interested in submitting a presentation proposal, send an email to the organisers suggesting <strong>(1) Title, (2) Subtitle, (3) Format, (4) Abstract</strong> (100 to 150 words) and <strong>(5) Biodata</strong> (50 words). We prefer to have only one presenter per presentation - the normal lenght of a presentation will be 45 minutes and, in some cases, 90 minutes. Each individual or company can submit up to three presentations. The still is the possibility to make a 15-minutes presentation of a project, company or institution represented by the speaker.</p>
<p>Proposals should be sent by email to: portomusical [at] portomusical.com.br with the following subject line: CONFERENCE PROPOSAL – (NAME OF PRESENTER)</p>
<p><strong>How to submit a showcase proposal </strong></p>
<p>In order to submit a showcase proposal, send an email to the organisers with the following information: <strong>(1) artist&#8217;s or band&#8217;s name, (2) number of participants, specifying their functions, (3) country of origin, (4) country of residence, (5) website, (6) short promotion information</strong> (one sentence)<strong>, (9) detailed promotion information</strong> (100 to 150 words)<strong>, (10) latest release, (11) record label contact</strong> (if any)<strong>, (12) booking contact</strong>. In case the band is chosen to play at the Porto Musical, the organisers will provide for food and accommodation, venue, technical equipment, copyright and promotion. Taxes and travel costs should be covered by the artists and their partners.</p>
